We woke up this morning and had jalapeno kolaches for breakfast--a tradition here at the Rancho Francis. We went to church and sang Christmas carols. It brought back so many memories of standing next to my dad in church when I was a girl. Dick always said that my dad always was good at "making a joyful noise unto the Lord". I love the fact that he knows he can't carry a tune in a bucket and yet, he sings louder than any of us. After a little grocery shopping, we cooked hamburgs and hotdogs on the grill. Dad and the kids got into the spa after heating it up. The pool water is about 50 degrees, yet Kyle, Sam and Grandpa are all card carrying members of the "Texas Polar Bear Club". The each took turns jumping into the freezing cold water and then, getting in to the warm spa. Tonight Todd and his bride,Erin, are coming to stay and we will enjoy visiting with them.
